This table shows the age for children to enrol in an approved kindergarten program. Children who are 4 years old by June 30 in the year before they start school are eligible for kindy funding.

If there are spaces, we are happy to have 3 year olds at our kindys, who can then attend for 2 years. For more info call us on 3239 5381 to discuss your child and family’s situation.

You will need:

• Enrolment booklet from the kindy – or we can email to you
• Proof of birth for your child – birth certificate, passport or copy of Medicare Immunisation Schedule – must be Australian residents or citizens
• Have completed or booked in for your child’s 4 year old Health Check. Find out more about health checks.

Of course! We always ask families to bring their children in for a visit before they start. That way we can show you around, introduce you to the team and let you know what to bring.

The kindy program is run for 15 hours per week during school termsand have a 5 day fortnight.

No. Please bring a healthy morning tea and lunch with them each day.

Yes we provide a free bus at all of our kindys. Please speak to the kindy about eligibility and the boundaries for our pick up areas.

Deadly Kindy is free subject to eligibility. Please speak with our kindys to confirm.

Kindy is one of the best things you can do to prepare your child for school. We also ensure you are provided with a transition statement for your child’s school at the end of the year.
